Creamy Whipped Feta Dip

Creamy Whipped Feta Dip is the perfect accompaniment to any backyard party. This mezze classic is so versatile you can pair it with veggies, grilled meats, crusty bread or naan. Salty, lemony, and vibrant. Use Greek yogurt for extra tang and a healthy kick. This would be great as an appetizer to impress friends or family. Either during the hot days of summer paired with seasonal produce or for the super bowl paired with veggies and chips.

How to get creamy feta dip?

Creamy Whipped Feta Dip is made creamy by using a highly powerful blender, food processor, or an immersion blender.

Plan Ahead

Letting it sit a day ahead of time would be best to really allow the flavors meld, but life is busy, and you can’t plan out everything? All of us can’t be Leslie Knope. Letting it sit for an hour in the fridge will be just fine. This dip is naturally thin, sticking it in the fridge will thicken it up. You can make this recipe up to three days ahead of time.

You can substitute fresh herbs instead of dried. Although dried is absolutely fine. I sadly did not have any fresh herbs on hand. Parsley, mint, or dill would be great in this Creamy Whipped Feta Dip! Crushed red pepper and even toasted sesame seeds would make great garnishes. Notes

Across the board, I prefer buying chunked feta vs. pre crumbled because of its creamier and better texture.
If the dip is thick, add feta brine or more lemon juice. Remember, it will thicken in the fridge.
If it’s too chunky, you can run through a fine-mesh sieve before adding seasoning.
